Mary-Kate Olsen
When Ash and I are at a premiere and they're taking photos of us, she squeezes my hand 3 times to say 'I love you' and I squeeze her hand back 4 times to say 'I love you too!'
Me and Ashley feel like we're totally different.
I don't want my picture taken. The only time I think it's okay is at a red-carpet event or a photo shoot.
When we were kids, the work we did wasn't about acting. It was about pleasing people and making kids smile.
Our career is a dream. I mean, we get to act, travel around the world, and meet cool people. What's not to love!
If they're going to write a story they're going to write the story whether it's true or not.
About Ashley Everything, she means everything to me. I love her, she's my best friend.
Ashley Olsen
About Mary-kate She's always there for me when I need her; she's my best friend; she's just my everything.
About Mary-kate I couldn't do this without her
We haven't really thought about the past, we just keep moving forward in everything we do.
Some twins feel like they need to compare themselves to each other, but we're not that way. That's because of my parents, though, and having six kids in the family.
(at age 21) I want to make sure that my family is taken care of. I have a will. I know where everything is going.
(about watching "Full House" today with her sister) Sometimes we can tell who is playing Michelle, and sometimes we can't. It's pretty weird. Watching that show is like watching little home videos, and it always takes us back to that time, and that day, and that scene.
Jodie Sweetin
I get recognized all the time, although people are like, 'Oh my gosh, you're not, like, 11 any more!' It's funny. People don't expect you to grow up.
Sometimes when someone recognizes me, they are like "you're alive!" I don't know why people thought I died, I guess that happens when you make a life for yourself outside of Hollywood.
We all get along really well and we all are the best of friends. They really did become my other family and my group of friends." - about the close relationship between the cast mates of "Full House"
It is kind of hard to figure out who you are when you've lost your job at age 13, when that was basically how you identified yourself.
(about starring in "Full House") It was fun for me. It was a lot of fun for me, as a little kid, growing up with Bob [Saget] and, you know, Dave [Coulier] and John [Stamos] too. All these people were just fun, so I was having a great time. It wasn't work for me, it was fun.
There are a lot of pressures and a lot of different things that sort of come with being a child star and growing up in this business that normal kids don`t have to deal with. And it does create certain issues. But, you know, I feel really fortunate that I`ve been able to come through to the other side and really learn how to deal with those things, and possibly get another career started again. I'm really lucky.
(about her second husband) Cody is my best friend. I married my best friend, and I couldn't ask for anything more. He's an unbelievable person.
(about her "Full House" days) I went to public school, and kids thought it was funny to throw something at the girl from Full House. Middle school is hard enough as it is
(about her daughter) Yes, baby Zoie will most likely watch Full House someday. We have all the DVD's! For a kid who loves to perform, cracking a joke and having a whole soundstage full of laughter was the best thing. I look back on the episodes where I was 5 or 6, and I can see myself laughing at my own jokes! Candace [Cameron-Bure] and [the Olsen twins] were like pseudo siblings. I totally looked up to Candace--I thought she was the coolest--and I played with Mary-Kate and Ashley.
(About Baby Zoie) I had to learn to just be comfortable in my own skin. So I hope she'll learn that a little bit sooner. To just be yourself -- that was probably the hardest thing for me that I didn't learn until I was in my early twenties.
Candace Cameron Bure
(about her weight as a kid) It wasn't ever on my mind, but to this day, people come up to me and say, "Weren't you the chubby one on Full House? I was 132 pounds at age 15, which isn't a lot, but when you're 5"2, it shows. One time at the market, someone said to me, "You used to be fat. Look at you now!"
(about working with John Stamos) He was like this hearthrob and we all knew that, but I was kinda too young till I´d like him like a hearthrob, so he was just like the totally cute guy that was really nice and just doing his thing.
(About Full House) It's kind of like "The Brady Bunch" and i think it will live on forever. It's just a good wholesome family show and they're not making them like that anymore.
(About Full House) It's hard growing up in front of America. You go through so many stages. My daughter once said to me, 'You are not dressing well on that show.' I said, 'Honey, I was so cool everyone wanted to wear what D.J. was wearing'
(about Full House) My daughter [Natasha, 8 1/2] said to me, ‘You are not dressing well on that show. You kind of look like a dork.’ I said, ‘Honey, I was so cool. Everyone wanted to wear what DJ was wearing.'
Dave Coulier
When Val [Bure] was standing in front of Candace all the blood left his face. It was like he had met the most beautiful woman on earth!
John Stamos
For so many years, fans and friends have been wanting me to succeed and be back on TV every week, which hasn't happened since Full House. I feel like I came through for them. I've been been on the cover of TV Guide, on every single talk and entertainment show except Letterman. It's interesting being older and dealing with this kind of success. I'm more appreciative of it now, and I don't take it for granted. I'm happier in my career now than I've ever been.
I've had a fairy tale life. I had a perfect family, a beautiful childhood, an incredible upbringing. I lived a lot of life but a lot of good life... But in the last few years, losing my father, going through a divorce and not getting some jobs I really wanted, is making me a much more interesting person, I think... This all really does feel like a rebirth, a new chapter.
Mary-Kate and Ashley, who played Michelle, were great. I miss them, I love them, and I need to borrow some money from them.
(About his time on Full House) The whole time I was on it, I wished I was on another show, I'm not gonna lie to you. But I look back on it fondly, and I'm proud of it. Was it Seinfeld (1990), Friends (1994), Mary Tyler Moore (1970)? No. Was it a heartwarming show you could watch with your kids? Yes. And there's nothing wrong with that.
About MKA The whole time Bob and I were doing Full House, he was also hosting America's Funniest Home Videos. His entire job consisted of saying 'Take a look at this' which is what he used to say to Mary Kate in her dressing room.
About MKA I truthfully don't know where their sense of humor lies these days. I thought some of [the roast] was a little over the top. They're still my friends. I think [the comics] crossed the line a few times!
About Mary-kate & Ashley Everyone asks me if I give them advice. No, it's the other way around. They're really picky about who I'm dating. It's cute!
Lori Loughlin
It was quite an adjustment to me. Before Full House my roles were mostly serious soap opera parts playing evil characters. Now I was a squeaky clean morning show host from Nebraska on a TGIF sitcom.
(about playing the love interest of John Stamos on Full House after having a real life relationship with him): At first it was awkward having to be romantic with him because of our past relationship in real life, but when I realized that it was professional and we were just acting, it made it a little bit easier not getting caught up in the moment.
About her character in 90210 What I love about my character is she’s not just the mom that’s home parenting — she’s got a career!
About Mary-Kate & Ashley I'm sure there are a lot of sceptics out there that go "well! This is the final year" "This can't go on much longer" and year after year they prove everybody wrong.
Bob Saget
I have New Age friends who gave their little girl a toolbox of plastic tools. They were horrified later that night when they came into her room and found out she was putting the hammer to bed.
About MKA: Anybody who talks about my TV kids - that upsets me the most. I am very protective. I love them very, very much.
About his TV-kidsI love my TV kids. I text-message all the kids on the show and punish them. I say, 'If you don't shape up, you won't get another text message for months!'
Andrea Barber
My character [on Full House] was obnoxious, had stinky feet and wore things like purple tights and a yellow top. I hated the clothes.
Once in a while the costume people would say, 'Hey, kids, take home whatever you want', I would usually just take home a pair of pants, while the other castmates would grab armloads of clothes.
Blake Toumy-Wilhout
I loved being on the set of Full House. I am so happy I got that chance to do a show like that.
